Decided to stop at Parrot Key Caribbean Grill for BRUNCH on our way to the airport from a "girls" weekend. I ordered The Monster Mary Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders, and it was fantastic!! Our server Richard went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. AND WE DID!! Good service and outgoing personality made our visit there worth coming back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot

I have never written a bad review before but feel I should after last night. Let me start by saying my family has been going to this restaurant for many years and had always enjoyed the food and drinks. Last night was the exception. We were a family of 15 with a reservation for dinner in the outside area where Frank Torrino performs. The server assigned to us was responsible for three large tables and a table for two - @ 41 people. It was not totally his fault that the service was not good however, he should have been able to answer questions about the menu. We were there for close to two hours before our meals finally arrived. We ordered tropical drinks off the menu and had to send at least 10 back because they were not correct. Some had too much alcohol, some had no alcohol, and some were just not what we ordered. Not sure how the bartender had such a hard time making their signature drinks. The food when it finally arrived was ok. When the check came at the end of the night the returned drinks had not been taken off our bar bill and we were charged for an additional three meals. It was evident that the restaurant is understaffed and the servers are overworked with little knowledge of the menu and limited time to answer any questions. The place is not what it used to be. We likely will be finding a new favorite spot when we are back in the area.
