Came yesterday. Restaurant was small, cute, and modern. We arrived at 4 pm and there were 2 people in the entire restaurant. Asked server if we could have a table for 7 and she seemed annoyed rather than happy to have customers. Had to ask for a high chair twice. Arancini: Dry. Lacked flavor. Needed more cheese, salt, something, anything. Although the signature tomato sauce that came with this was amazing. Rich, velvety, & delicious. Calamari.. never came out. Rigatoni Amatriciana was ok. Amatriciana is my favorite Roman dish and this one was incredibly lacking. Barely any guanciale. It felt like noodles with tomatoe sauce. You couldn't even taste the guanciale in the dish at all. Tagliatelle Ragu Bianco was one of the best things we ordered. Savory, Creamy, Delicious. Margarita Pizza was simple yet perfect. Bellucci pizza with sausage and fresh ricotta was pretty interesting. It felt like it needed more sauce, but the pizza itself was interesting with the Creamy ricotta. Bellucci Calzone was doughy. Undercooked. Needed sauce. Didn't feel like there was any on it. It was also uncut which made it very hard to serve. It's a large football shaped piece of food, and they give you the smallest steak knife to cut it. Really? We also asked if we could get a side of sauce for this very dry calzone and she said that they don't offer that or have it available. What's confusing about that is they served the arancini with what they call their "signature tomato sauce" yet when asked for a side of tomato sauce for the calzone, she tells us that they don't have that. Very confusing. She says that all she can offer me is the cold pizza sauce. Weird. Margarita Pizza and Tagliatelle Ragu Bianco were delicious. I'm sure there are other things here that are definitely worth trying but some of the things we ordered were a definite miss. Service here wasn't great. She seemed nicer once we sat down but she was pretty rude prior to sitting. I know that it's not always easy to serve small children. I've been in the hospitality industry for 25 years. I get it. Their loud, messy, and if the restaurant should happen to offer a kids menu, it's typically cheaper which servers typically don't like because it means their checks are smaller which means their tips are usually smaller. I completely understand. But with that being said, they are still little people that need to eat. It should also be noted that sometimes children have special needs or disabilities that also make it hard for them to sit still. I know that sucks for people who work in restaurants but this is life. It's bad enough that you have to constantly deal with the angry glares from customers but when it comes to the service staff, can you please save your eye rolling for when you get to an area where your customers can't see it? It's rude and impolite and at the end of the day it's genuinely not our intention to upset you and we are indeed paying for a service. Not to mention we drove almost an hour from the peninsula to eat at this restaurant that we carefully picked out. It wasn't on accident or on a whim. Disappointing. I would still definitely give this restaurant another try because I think that there are things on that menu worth trying

First time ordering from Passione Pizza and am so glad I did! I ordered the pizza with Artichokes, Kalamata Olives, Sun Dried Tomatoes and Pesto. It was delish! And the crust... perfection! I had it delivered and popped it into the oven to warm it up a bit and was super pleased with the result! Yummy, delicious and delivered in a very reasonable amount of time! I will definitely use and recommend Passione again! Wonderfully different from your Domino's type; healthy ingredients, fresh recipes and old standards (for those who don't like change). The crust is thin and the edges just doughy enough. True Italian style! Bravo! For dessert I got the Sfogliatelle...the pastry was divine and the filling just lemony enough. So good! Be sure to save room or don't and treat yourself for breakfast!
