Went here yesterday because I was in the area and heard decent reviews. The food I got was undercooked and a little cold. And the drink I got was not made well by the bartender. He didn't do a good job at all. Maybe I'll give it another shot next time I'm around UPDATE: went here again a second time. Even worse. My drink was again not prepared properly. The bartender also had a little bit of an attitude. Got the pork belly which tasted stale/spoiled. I hate to be the guy who leaves a bad yelp review but I NEVER do this. Passport: be better. Another update: Eric is the worst bartender of all time. The place smells bad, too.

My husband and I have been coming to this place for years under both old management and new. Eric has been our favorite bartender in many bars in Quincy and Passport in Weymouth for years. We were delighted to see when he assumed ownership of Passport, now renamed "4th and Cherry." I'm not sure what kind of crack these poor reviewers are smoking, but this place is HANDS DOWN our favorite place to eat and drink. The service is excellent. The most recent chef that they just got a few months ago creates such incredible food that we wanted to hug him after we ate.(we didn't, I swear) Every cocktail I have ever ordered from this place is made with such love and pride, even on the busiest of nights! I am a bartender and typically disappointed by every cocktail I order at every bar I go to and I have NEVER been disappointed at Passport/4th and Cherry. They have a unique wine list and incredible selection of craft beer. We used to come here more often but now we have a toddler so our visits are limited. :) But we know where our money will NEVER be wasted, our time is enjoyed to the fullest extent on our limited nights out together due to not only the food, the love put into the cocktails and the incredible ambiance with candlelight and great music playing. Even the bathroom is cool! Check this place out.
