I ordered take out from Primavera and everything was delicious and ready when I got there. I ordered the cheese tortellini and chopped salad and the caponata with bread. Food: 5 Service: 5 Price per person: $40–50

My wife and I used to be regulars at Primavera Ristorante years ago, and we decided to return last night for a nostalgic dinner. While the service was excellent, the food left a lot to be desired. The staff and our waiter were great—attentive, friendly, and very prompt. However, the kitchen missed the mark. I ordered the Jambalaya and asked the waiter if they could add a slight kick to it. When it arrived, it was so incredibly spicy it was completely uneatable. To their credit, they replaced the meal quickly with the correct heat level. Unfortunately, even with the fix, both my Jambalaya and my wife’s cheese tortellini really lacked flavor. It just missed that special, high-quality feeling we used to love here. Sadly, after this experience, I seriously doubt we will be back. 5/10.
