Fantastic spot! Would recommend to anyone! The food was so authentic and delicious! I got the Rigatoni Bolognese with Tiramisu as a dessert. Salomon, the guy working there was very friendly and welcoming. It was very entertaining seeing him and his co-worker making fresh pasta before our eyes. Overall, a fantastic experience. I will definitely be returning. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$10–20

Nestled in the inventive temple of pasta perfection on Queen Street West, downtown Toronto, Pastalia is a dazzling playground for your pasta pleasures. In under a year, this build-your-own wonderland has redefined Italian dining. You choose your noodle, rigatoni, bucchetti, fettuccine, then pair it with a sauce, Bolognese, Alfredo, pesto, crafted in-house with care. Next, you add a protein, grilled chicken, roasted beef, or chorizo sausage, and pile on toppings, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted mushrooms, sautéed onions. Every bite is a personal masterpiece, and it’s a dream for your wallet, too, each bespoke build is priced to your exact tastes, a culinary adventure with your budget in perfect sync. I have only touched on the extensive list of toppings and sauces. It's an experience with possibility. The space itself is a marvel, a modern vintage remix with crisp edges, gleaming white walls and floor and a stainless steel workspace that rivals a Nasa Capsule, decorated with a minimalist palette that radiates confidence. And from behind that pristine kitchen, where every flip and swirl is on full display, rises Suleymon, the pasta man, flipping pasta pans with a perfect plan, spinning his sauce with a silken, sublime charm. Suleymon sashays like a symphony, a pasta poet performing a flip, a flourish, a fabulous feat, he’s the maestro of motion, the wizard of whimsy, the man with a pasta plan. As a 45-year veteran of the restaurant world, I can say his tiramisu is transcendental. A biscuit base as bold as a dream, coffee as delicate as a lullaby, and cinnamon like a sunbeam dusted on top. Pastalia doesn’t just serve pasta; it curates culinary confidence, and with Suleymon’s pasta plan, every creation is destiny in a dish. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: You build your own pasta!!! So of course vegetarians can create incredible meals.

I recently visited this cozy Italian spot and absolutely loved it The atmosphere feels incredibly warm and homey, It’s the kind of place that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. They’re currently offering a “Nonna Loves You” lunch special from 12–4pm, where you can get a generous bowl of fresh pasta for $10.99. I tried Rigatoni Alfredo and Rigatoni Bolognese and it was delicious We also had their homemade tiramisu for dessert, and it was amazing, super creamy, well-balanced, and the perfect way to end the meal. One of the most unique things about this place is that they’re pet-friendly and even have a menu for dogs, which is such a thoughtful and rare touch. Overall, such a great spot for a cozy and affordable lunch. Definitely recommend checking it out! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
