It was a Saturday around 12:45 pm. My husband and I originally planned to have lunch at another restaurant for omelette rice, but while we were waiting, we noticed this Italian restaurant nearby. The food and menu looked so delicious that we immediately changed our minds and lined up here instead. We waited for less than five minutes before being seated. We were given window seats, sitting side by side on high chairs, which was really nice. The menu had so many choices that we were genuinely excited to order. We decided to share 真蛸と北海道ポテトのジェノベーゼ (Octopus and Hokkaido Potatoes with Genovese Pesto Sauce) and フライドチキン (Fried Chicken) as appetizers. For the main dishes, my husband ordered とろとろ牛タンシチューのオムドリア (Soft Beef Tongue Stew Omurice Gratin) with a half pasta plate featuring 特製カルボナーラパスタ (Special Creamy Carbonara Pasta). I ordered サーロインサイコロステーキ (Diced Sirloin Steak) with a half pasta plate of たっぷりアサリのボンゴレビアンコパスタ (Vongole Bianco Pasta with Plenty of Clams). Soon after we ordered, the waitress brought us the lunch set soup. It was a vegetable-based red soup that was very tasty and somehow reminded both of us of our childhoods. The 真蛸と北海道ポテトのジェノベーゼ came next. The pesto sauce paired perfectly with the octopus and potatoes, and they were very generous with the octopus. It was a great appetizer. Then the フライドチキン arrived—three generous pieces, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. However, the seasoning was a bit light for my taste. Even with lemon juice, I felt it could have been better with a dipping sauce. After that, both of our main dishes were served, each accompanied by a fresh salad. My husband’s とろとろ牛タンシチューのオムドリア looked amazing and tasted just as good. The beef tongue was very tender, and the combination of the rich stew, omelette rice, and sauce worked beautifully together. His 特製カルボナーラパスタ was creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious—we both loved it. My サーロインサイコロステーキ was unexpectedly juicy and tender. There were six pieces, and they were absolutely delicious. The sauce was excellent and paired perfectly with both the beef and the potato chips. The chips themselves were thin, crispy, and surprisingly good, exactly the way I like them. The たっぷりアサリのボンゴレビアンコパスタ came with a generous amount of clams, I counted eleven of them! The flavor was lighter compared to my husband’s pasta, but very refreshing, and I couldn’t help but finish the entire dish. It was our first time visiting this restaurant, and we left with happy, satisfied stomachs. We will definitely be coming back again. Meal type: Lunch Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
