3 cakes ordered on the same day within a week. The first dry... the second dry, the third made by dogs I asked to make a writing... it was done too bad that a round wafer had already been applied underneath which was then removed and modified by writing on it. Final result... shit!!!! I don't like questioning, the only thing I'm saying is if you make them make a disgusting cake, insured... so never again ANDREA PASTRY SHOP... NOT RECOMMENDED. I'm writing because I've been going to this place for years, not every day, but as a pastry shop and bar it's trusted... and with joy and I've always promoted it a lot: excellent coffee, extraordinary custard, wide choice of fresh pastries, dry pastries and brioche, occasionally Andrea himself at the counter, convivial, smiling and kind, and even the aperitif doesn't miss anything (very high marks for the Campari spritz!). Unfortunately, recently a couple of episodes in the last year have caught my attention in a negative way 1- seeing on a Saturday afternoon at 6.30pm the counter being filled in abundance with freshly baked croissants, and the fresh pastry counter loaded with a feast for the eyes, I don't expect it from those who work on fresh products of the day (and then one Sunday at 11am I found the counter empty...) 2 - come in around 6pm, ask for a Campari spritz and 'boys but don't I have nothing for the cutting board'..no problem! Even just two peanuts are fine, just so you don't drink on an empty stomach, but there was nothing of the sort, and then 'yeah guys, I don't have any ice'... well, we turned around. The choice was to make the pastry shop also a bar, it cannot be that in the height of summer there is no ice. The three stars are no less because I trust that these lapses in style were isolated episodes, but I must admit that I come to visit you less often now; I will definitely stop by your place again, I hope to find the real Pasticceria Andrea again
