Negative experience. Let me start by saying that it is not the first time I have purchased this type of cake so I was going without fail. We ordered an Elvezia cake for my birthday and the cake was wrong. When my mother called the pastry shop the next day, the gentleman said that Elvezia comes in two types but no one mentioned this when ordering (I repeat that it was usually right with zabaglione). Thanks for the ruined birthday and a simple apology. As a serious pastry shop, I would have at least offered a cake as had been requested, even a smaller one, but to be fair I would certainly have done something since I, as the birthday girl, didn't even eat it and the other guests were expecting the same one as usual. The pastries, cakes and ice creams at this patisserie are my favourites. Furthermore, the staff is very kind and very helpful and flexible towards customers.
