After visiting St Nicholas Stairs, you can look over the menu at this restaurant. Luckily you can degust Caribbean and Jamaican cuisines. Here you will be able to order good jamaican chicken, shrimp tacos and coconut shrimps. Most guests recommend trying tasty fried bananas. It is nice to enjoy delicious rum.
Patois is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. A lot of guests find that the dishes are offered for low prices. You will certainly appreciate the calm atmosphere and beautiful decor. But google users haven't given this place a high rating.

DO TRY: the chicken wings. YUM. All my dining companions and I concurred these are the best wings we've had in Beirut. They aren't deep fried crunchy like other places and they aren't drenched in sauce. They are juicy, flavourful and delicious. Try them!
NO NEED FOR: the coconut shrimp. There are coconut flakes incorporated right into the batter, which was nice but there was something about the balance of flavours that wasn't perfect for me. I think there could be more coconut and the batter recipe can be modified so it doesn't slip off the shrimp quite so easily..still ok though!
The kale Cesar salad was quite good too, the unconventional pineapple providing welcome flavour to the dish. I would say that the kale could be massaged a little more to have a smoother texture.
Patois does have a 5 Islands adaptation of the long island, which will probably be loved by rum fans. Personally, I am not a fan of spiced rum and preferred the classic but the bartender knows his drinks and mixes well!
Overall portions were great and the vibe is quite special. Even the music was on point. I would go back!
