I visited Patus based on a recommendation from a local influencer and expected an authentic Italian dining experience. Instead, I left wondering how this restaurant earned its reputation. The service was chaotic from start to finish. Staff seemed lost and inattentive, drinks we ordered never arrived, and a cat was freely roaming the dining room and jumping onto tables. The food was even more disappointing. The fish smelled old and should never have been served. The "fresh" pasta arrived as a shapeless blob with neither the texture nor presentation one would expect from an Italian restaurant. Between the poor service, questionable hygiene, and disappointing food, this was one of the most underwhelming dining experiences I have had in Oran. I cannot recommend it.
