I visited PAUL Beirut recently, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. As expected, it was quite crowded, but what stood out was the lack of clear management presence only waiters were visible, and there was no identifiable person in charge. When I arrived, I stood for about two minutes in front of a staff member, unsure if he even worked there since there were no clear uniforms. After asking him for a table for one, his attitude was unfriendly and unwelcoming, as if I were asking for a favor rather than being a customer. He eventually pointed me to a table. After sitting down, I waited for someone to acknowledge me or provide a menu, but several waiters passed by without any attention, making me feel completely ignored almost for 13 minutes. For a place with such a strong reputation, the service fell far below expectations. Management seriously needs to review staff behavior, customer service standards, and overall organization on the floor. Too bad Paul I was expecting the same service you have in GCC which has been always the case …but now it is not .At least respect your customers . This branch is only suitable for a quick cup of coffee. Unfortunately, the staff came across as arrogant and unprofessional, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. To be fair, the staff member did apologize multiple times after I raised my concern, which I appreciate—but overall, the visit was not pleasant. I don’t see myself returning again.
