We visited Paula Deen's Family Kitchen on 11/10/2024. There were very few patrons in the entire restaurant and we had no wait to be escorted to our table. Our server whose name was Angel was the tipping point of our visit. She was very dismissive of us from the very beginning. Angel walked away from our table with an assumption of our drink orders to the point that I had to call out over my shoulder to order my granddaughter's drink choice. Angel was rude at every interaction. Angel was very short with her description of desert choices and when she was asked to repeat them she was rude at the very least. We chose to take our desert to go and I watched Angel as she walked across the dining room with our deserts swinging in a bag on her wrist. When I was putting my card in the folder to pay the bilI, l had trouble getting my card in the holder and I was rudely told by Angel to "just put in in there." I cannot in good conscience recommend any friend or family member to patronize this restaurant. Vacations are the epitome of disposable income and should be handled as the precious privilege that they are and not squandered on unappreciative vendors. There are too many choices in the Branson area to put up with disrespect. Do better. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

The restaurant is very pretty. The service was good. The food was NOT anything special. The ribs were terrible. Great black-eyed peas! We were NOT impressed! Family style doesn't work well for this type of restaurant. There were four of us my mom, her friend, my sister and me. The server was nice but difficult to understand. We almost (did) get into a cursing, hungry rage trying to explain how the ordering process works to our 83 yo mother. The food was a terrible disappointment, overpriced at $40 per person $38 + tax + tip! No to go is allowed. When we questioned the lady cleaning the table across from us she became defensive, indicating to us that this isn't the first time someone has questioned this practice. We very politely asked what was done with the food remaining on the table. She replied that it was thrown in the trash. We were visiting and didn't want it anyway. However, other people, especially locals would most likely enjoy taking the normal "doggie bag." Although we hadn't ordered any seconds aside from the peas you are able to reorder as much as you like. We're all small women who can't eat that much food. She explained that people will reorder and then bag it up to go. It seems at that price even that couldn't be to harmful! The serving sizes were small anyway. We were very disappointed and none of us woul EVER go there again. DO NOT RECOMMEND

The food was delicious. But very expensive like $20 a plate for lunch. The food that you bought you could not take home. Because they do not allow carry out. They did not explain that this was like a all you can eat buffet. And the waitress was not informative and did not fill our drinks. Only came around for the check. I suggest you go to Lambert’s You can take your food out that you have paid for and it’s delicious and very affordable. Will not go back
