Paulo's Italian Trattoria is pretty near St. Michael the Archangel. The menu of Italian cuisine under the direction of the popular chef is gorgeous here. This restaurant may please you with tasty veal marsala, rack of lamb and rigatoni. If hungry, come here for good tiramisu. You will be offered delicious marsala, pinot grigio or brandy. Some clients recommend great cappuccino at Paulo's Italian Trattoria.

The food is fresh, the food is really good and the service is excellent. I did not care for the pizza but the pasta was absolutely the best pasta I've ever had. The service was phenomenal and I can't wait to come back here. If you're in the area and you want a wonderful delicious meal this is the place to go! Please tell them that Andy's buddy sent you !! Oh and by the way, the history attached to this building is really cool. Someone actually wrote a book and talks about and now not only this building but the front door!

My wife and I visit Paulo's at least 4 times a year, 3 times in the summer on the patio and love it. the atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing. yesterday we Celebrated my wifes 65th birthday, we were greeted by a wonderful lady who also served us. She described the chef's pasta specials. My wife selected the seafood pasta, I took the sirloin tip pasta, we started wife a chowder that was soooo creamy and delicious, then crab cakes that were full of crab meat and little filler, wonderful. My wife and I could not stop praising the food. what a wonderful meal, service was so good, oh yeah we also had wine, why not. this was not cheap, but if you want cheap then go to McDonald's and you get what you pay for. If you want quality and a professional chef meal with great service, go to Paulo's.

Lousy, careless frozen food & worse service. Cardboard like pizza that is expensive and tastes like the dough was pre-made in a factory and frozen. Couldn't even be bothered to make me an espresso. Depressing atmosphere. Avoid. Don't be fooled by the kitschy old town style exterior. Go to Little Italy on 62 if you want real Italian food made from scratch by a chef who puts love into his food or L'auberge de France around the corner for a nice Parisian lunch made fresh.
