First of all I have to say the gelato is some of the best in the city, delicious! And the drinks were good too. The food, however, was terrible. The pasta gricia was in a sticky ball and inedible. The pizza, while it tasted okay, was soft snd undercooked, flimsy. We had to eat it was a knife and forth because if there was no way to pick up a piece of Pizza. I have no idea how this place got the good ratings that it has because the interior is dank and it's just not good. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €50–60

Pausa Ristorazione is an absolute gem, perfectly situated right across the street from the Vatican. This charming restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience with phenomenal service that makes you feel right at home. The food is simply divine, with every dish bursting with freshness and homemade goodness. We savored a delectable sandwich, a rich and flavorful pasta, and tender chicken with perfectly seasoned potatoes. Though we didn't try the pizza, we've heard it's the best in town, and judging by the quality of everything else, we believe it! The warm, mom-and-pop atmosphere of Pausa Ristorazione truly sets it apart, making it a must-visit when in Rome. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
