Myself and my friend went in to the cafe after a lovely time in east park with our children. Our children have additional needs, sensory issues and a few other things so will not eat anything the cafe offers. Due to this myself and my friend ordered some drinks, our children had there safe foods. One of the workers came over and told us we are not supposed to bring outside food in ( which I can understand), however what I can not understand is why this worker felt the need to point and stare at us and gossip about us with other members of staff. There was nobody else at the surrounding tables so we know this was aimed at us. It is incredibly unprofessional and left us feeling uncomfortable and overwhelmed. We were just trying to have a nice day with our children who already have enough difficulties without the need of somebody thinking there better than others Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Food is great without being too costly. Staff friendly and environment clean and welcoming. Dogs are welcome too. Kid-friendliness: Lots of high chairs available Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

When did the cafe change to only cold food in the summer months? I am sure last summer I could buy chips, sausages a bacon sandwich for example, I asked today and was told by the petite woman with a poor attitude (purple plats) just so you know who, that it’s just cold food as though she had told me many times before!, I’ve always had good service before however it’s the first time being served by this woman, needs to be on a customer service training. The food I did have was very nice and a generous portion.
