We ate at Pe'ah Kitchen in Mareeba today and were absolutely blown away. The food was outstanding and 100% authentic. We traveled to Malaysia last year and tried a lot of the local cuisine, and since then, no Asian food has hit the mark quite like this. The flavors transported us straight back to Malaysia! The service was also super friendly and incredibly helpful. Everything was simply perfect from start to finish. Since the restaurant appears to be quite new, it's a real hidden gem right now. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves genuine Malaysian food! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The person on the counter taking my order had no interest in helping me out. She had ear buds in and I was a distraction. She also had poor knowledge of the foods on the menu. I enjoyed the food it was well presented but it was pot luck. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40
