This unassuming place serves delicious goat stew. Located in Cuartero it is along the Capiz - Iloilo highway route and serves as a stop for travellers who wish for a break and a meal. The place is shabby and worn down, the rest rooms are clean enough bit you need to grab a bucket to flush. That said if you don't mind the condition of thr place, you will be greeted by a friendly staff and good food. Meal type: Lunch

Ped Nor Kandingan and Manokan Cuartero, Iloilo Best Native fried chicken in a simple kainan. They open at five in the morning (5:00 AM) and everyone hails their native fried chicken. Just a kubo restaurant but serving good food, we were lucky to find them open before holiday season, and had breakfast before heading to Caticlan. They serve a side of warm chicken broth soup with chicken liver. I know the picture does not say much but trust us when we say it’s really good.
