After reading reviews for The Peekskill Brewery we decided to take advantage of the last Restaurant Week to try our first Gastro Pub. We made a mistake. For $20.95 I had a cup of soup and half a half warm Bratwurst sandwich on hard toasted bread, my wife had Salad and a cold, dry, Chicken sandwich also on hard toasted bread. The drinks were moderately priced but, for the money, this was very disappointing. We have shied away from the trendy Gastro Pubs in the past and will stay away in the future.
