This was the WORST cafe I've been into for a very long time! The place was empty on a lovely Sunday afternoon & after the food arrived, I could understand why! The place was not clean & although they advertised it as being child-friendly, apart from a toy BBQ, there were only a few broken plastic toys & some very well- worn books. I ordered the banana & cream crepes but they didn't have any bananas!! (even though the place was empty) so I tried the sugar & lemon crepes, which turned out to be very, very small & tasted bland. They came with a lump of brown sugar & very tiny lemon slices which must've come from one TINY lemon. My grandson's fluffy came in a paper egg cup with stale marshmallows which is not acceptable in this day & age! It was also cold inside & I would not go there again....which is sad considering that it once was a lovely, warm & friendly Cafe.. NOT recommended at all now! Peel to pip is a welcoming cafe overlooking a small park. A heater keeps the cafe warm in winter, while there is a small deck where diners can soak up the sun in summer. Gentle music and plants (real and imitation) add atmosphere. There is a play area for children, and a toilet. There is a range of food at moderate prices.
