Really poor but expensive Estonian cuisine. Little choice and not satisfying in taste. Very kind waitress. As in the Scandinavian peninsula, in restaurants the mark-ups on wine seem absurd to an Italian Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €50–60 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

The food was great although the starters to share were a bit scarce and took a long time between courses. Still the food is excellent. The best are eggplants and meatballs Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Trusting the reviews and the Falstaff ranking I booked the first lunch of our stay at the Peet Ruut restaurant. Let's start with the positive sides: very nice, clean environment. We had the fried aubergines and meatballs as an appetizer, very good. What went wrong: 1) having an appointment at 2.30pm we booked directly for 1pm. We were therefore the first customers. The starter arrives at 1.55pm 2) 0.3% non-alcoholic beer is not suitable for pregnant women, and being told "but it only has a little alcohol" I found it quite worrying. 3) a very contained card, a positive side for me. However, starting a service on the Saturday before Easter without one of the 5 dishes and without offering an alternative is a sign of poor organization. 4) the veal fillet was wallowing in a sauce, which ended up killing the flavor of the meat. Furthermore, it arrived lukewarm (30 euros) and the side potatoes (6 euros) arrived 5 minutes after the meat, when I got up and went to the waitress. Overall not a great experience. I think the place has potential. In any case, there is absolutely no organization and coordination - from the manager who was unable to order the goods, to the kitchen which, with 4 tables of 2 people, is unable to bring out the fillet and the side dish together, up to the waitress who unfortunately he tried his best but he didn't have the skills.
