(Paola server) Stopped by Pelican's Boquerón for lunch and had a great experience. The burger was juicy, cooked well, and loaded with bacon and cheese. The fries were hot and crispy, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere is relaxed with colorful Caribbean decor, making it a nice place to take a break while exploring Boquerón. Service was friendly, and the food came out quickly. If you're in the area and looking for a solid burger and a casual local spot, Pelican's is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back to try more of the menu. They have a full menu Pizza, breakfast, brunch, deli sandwiches, coffee, full bar. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

A quiet relief from the fun, but very loud nightlife of karaoke and bars. Food was good as we had the fish (cooked nicely in garlic butter sauce) and chuletas kan kan (fried pork). It is challenging to find parking anywhere near this area on a Friday night so take the first spot you see! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The food was mostly tasteless and not seasoned. The service was even less seasoned. We weren’t greeted when we walked in and our waitress was rude and slow. The seats were covered in something that felt grainy, which made it uncomfortable to sit. It took them more than an hour to get out an order for a burger because they mistakenly gave our burger to another table with the same order. They also did nothing to compensate for the wait nor their mistake. I had to also ask for ketchup three times because they kept forgetting to bring it to our table. We also had to keep asking for napkins because they didn’t have napkins out. They also charged us $2.14 for a sauce and didn’t tell us it would be extra. Afterwards, she was taking a look at every single one of our receipts after we had paid, which made us feel uncomfortable. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
