So, we didn’t dine in, we ordered out and our experience was a bit odd. The restaurant itself was nice, and the staff was friendly, but they were lacking in general social skills. We called to order and it took about 30 minutes to get a simple order placed because the teenage girl taking our order (bless her) was doing 12 different things at once and couldn’t keep up with all of it. Once we walked from our hotel to pick up the food, we didn’t realize until we got back to the hotel that they had completely forgotten part of our order (we did, in fact, ask the girl taking our order to repeat it back to us to ensure she didn’t forget anything and she had repeated it correctly). We called to order our missing food and my husband came back to pick it up. Food was ready in a timely manner, despite the original mess up. The food itself was mediocre at best. The taste was okay, but was bland overall. The salsa was plain weird. It’s basically a tomato blend with an overpowering amount of pepper, lacking spices. We ordered the Pollo con Arroz (chicken, cheese, and rice) and there was no cheese on it. Thankfully we ordered a queso dip we were able to use to dress the dish with. The queso did have a bit of a processed taste to it, I’m not fully sure if it’s made fresh in house. Overall, not horrible, food was okay, but probably wouldn’t eat here again. Friendly staff & great food at a good price. Thank you for making us feel like valued customers during our vacation. Our last visit was just as great as our first visit!
