My bf and I were looking for something to eat and I stumbled upon this establishment on Ubereats. Based on the review and pictures I decided to take a chance and boy am I glad I did. I ordered the build your own omelette and my bf got the farmers omelette. They both were so delicious! No complaints at all. We also wanted to try to the French toast but we ended up being so full from the omelettes we had to put it aside to eat later. I'll definitely be trying other foods on their menu.

As a Bayonne local, Perk Up Cafe is a great option if you're ever in town and need a good breakfast/brunch option. I've eaten inside of the cafe before, but I typically order takeout and have always had a good experience. Some of the items I have ordered from Perk Up Cafe before are The Santa Fe (Toasted bagel with avocado spread, scrambled egg with black beans, red onion, bell peppers, and salsa) with a side of Home Fries, the Caprese Style Frittata (Roma tomato, fresh basil and fresh mozzarella) and the Caprese Grill Grilled Cheese (Fresh mozzarella, Roma tomato and fresh basil. Served with a side salad). All of these menu items were delicious and you can tell that the cafe uses fresh ingredients. My personal favorite is the Caprese Grilled Cheese because the bread that it comes on is perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I also enjoy the salad that the sandwich comes with because they always use a fresh Spring Mix that pairs perfectly with the balsamic vinaigrette-type dressing provided. The last time I visited, I noticed that the cafe also had Van Leeuwen's ice cream pints for sale and a variety of detox/immunity-boosting juice shots. Perk Up Cafe reminds me of a local coffee shop in Brooklyn with quality food and healthier food options. Will definitely stop by again!
