Persimmon has long been a popular spot on Wisconsin Ave. in Bethesda, away from the overcrowded main streets area South of Old Georgetown Rd. The food is pretty solid, but the menu doesn't seem to change much. Good wine specials on Tuesday, I believe. Good cocktails and a few mocktails as well. The atmosphere is lively, not too loud, depending on whether there's a larger group in house. Service is attentive. Easy parking in the large lot right behind the restaurant. Price per person: $60–70 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Paid parking lot Kid-friendliness: Family friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, no steps.

Visiting Bethesda from out of town and so glad we tried persimmon. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The crabcakes and pan seared salmon were both delicious. Great neighborhood spot. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in
