You can tell the items that they enjoy making or cooking as the flavor and taste match it. Overall I think there is an enough here as a baseline to improve but I would start with the blaring issues: Service is slow. The drinks are more than subpar. The portion size vs price is alright. Seasoning of certain items needs to be greatly increased. There are many better options in walking distance for a similar meal or even better. I think the history of older repeat customers keep them going but the star rating vs the meals don’t align, with that said it makes sense that there are a ton of reviews. Excellent food, service, and place all around. Persimmon does a really good job of serving high-quality meals in a setting that feels comfortable and upscale but not overdone. The weight staff is also great uneven went to the trouble of chasing us down the street when we had left a couple things at the table. They also have an excellent happy hour menu that’s worth checking out. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
