At Pescheria Di Napoli in Naples, seafood is the star of the show. This risto-pescheria is a local favorite, located outside of tourist areas and frequented mostly by natives. The staff, including the friendly and attentive Brigida, is fantastic. The establishment offers a fixed menu with a variety of dishes, including starters like oysters and clams, pasta dishes with crab or clams, and grilled fish. The quality and quantity are exceptional for the price, which is very reasonable. The location may be a bit difficult to find, but it's worth the effort. The ambiance is lively and bustling, with plastic tables and chairs that add to the casual, beachy feel of the place. The establishment offers outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying the warm Naples weather. The wine list includes local options like Falanghina del Beneventano from Schiano winery. Pescheria Di Napoli is a must-visit fine dining spot for seafood lovers looking for an authentic Neapolitan experience.
In my opinion there is still a long way to go to align the undisputed communication skills of the owner "Peppe" and the general quality of the restaurant. Having seen the videos on various social networks ... one would expect excellent dishes and attention to detail. Objectively it is not so UNFORTUNATELY! Local unkempt and wedged between the buildings in a city agglomeration, waiters mostly very young and inexperienced, dishes IN MY OPINION trivial and cooked on an "assembly line"! Nothing very serious ... we eat and drink normally, but personally I expected anything but. To understand each other, it is a restaurant for which I would not travel more than 3/4 km from my house! I think catering is a serious matter ... made up of an infinite number of details that need to be known and taken care of. I have no doubts about their boundless ability to sell fish in the fish shop and communicate on social media ... for this reason I am sure that the owner's intelligence will ensure that the restaurant business will improve too! But for now.. no!!
Crowded place, but this is justified by the good and plentiful fish-based food at 30 euros per person all inclusive and the very kind staff starting with the owner who comes to greet guests, to return.
