Petit Poisson has a warm, cozy vibe, and the food is seriously delicious — it really wows your taste buds. The owner is clearly very thoughtful about both cooking and taking care of guests. If any of my friends go to Kyoto, I’d definitely tell them to make a reservation here. Everything from the appetizers, main course to dessert, plus the homemade ginger ale, is just so good. Southern French cuisine with Japanese twist. One can tell the chef, who trained in Nice, uses the best seafood she can find, too. Great woman-owned restaurant with warm cosy atmosphere.
