After I placed an order for 30 dollars 1 meal. I was then told it was a 40 minute wait for rice. The person who was fixing plates seemed disappointed by my special request for plating as if I were a hassle. When I received my food it séned like the bare minimum of a portion. The gravy for the turkey wings were SALTY. I decided to deliscatd the meat in fear I may get high blood pressure. The greens and cabbage were absolutely delicious. I can taste it again wrong this. Lima beans taste like it's from the can with no seasoning. Yellow rice was to yellow. Cornbread no sugar but lord it was delicious.a basic soda from the machine was an extra 4 dollars. Only marking down atmosphere because it's in a gas station store. But this place is amazing! Such good food with great flavor! Very generous portions. All of the people working there were kind and generous. Loved it, if I lived in the area I'd be back a lot! I was really impressed that every single dish I had was amazing. Collard greens were awesome. Cornbread was so good. Yellow rice, i really need the recipe. Had some oxtails, was so good and cooked down to be perfectly tender. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

We visited Phat Girlz Thursday evening. We went in, placed our order, and did a little shopping while waiting for it to be prepared. Firstly, the customer service was very welcoming and patient. Thank You for that!!! When we got the bag, the weight on it instantly persuaded you to find somewhere comfortable to eat your food. You know you have to get somewhere set when you feel a heavy plate. Iykyk!!!! Big Backtivity activated!!! The food was hot, well seasoned and did not stand a chance!!! The chicken was very well seasoned, juicy as well, the Mac was not over seasoned or over cooked, the green beans were delicious as well. The rice was fluffy, the candied yams were not too sweet, and the greens were good as well. You can taste a little bit of vinegar in the greens, but it was still delightful. If you are ever in the area, please pay these fine folks a visit. If you trying to big your back, PhatGirlz is where it’s at! No pork in the vegetables. Pescatarian and vegetation friendly!
