Small mom and pop pho. I try their Bun rieu. It was good but I start get thirsty after I ate .. I felt like they put Lot msg in it.

Came across Pho Hong Hung after a friend recommended it for lunch and I am glad she did. Located at a tiny strip mall along Brookhurst this small restaurant offers both inside and patio dining. We picked the following from the menu. Spring Rolls, which were very fresh and delicious. The peanut sauce which came with had a nice kick to it and I absolutely love it. The Egg Rolls were also nice but I had better to be honest! My steamed chicken breast and thigh was very tasty and quite a generous portion! The side of rice was different from what I ever had and imho just okay. Overall this was a great lunch and I most definitely would return. 4.5 stars for reasonably priced and delicious food plus friendly service. I'll be back. Enjoy and Bon Appétit!

Visited on a Sunday and restaurant was packed. Food delicious. Had the udon with chicken Great portion and ice tea I had never tasted before. Was terrific. Service was great and owner came out to say hi. Highly recommend. Looking forward to my next visit. The vermicelli with beef looked amazing. Bryan.
