The food was really good. I ordered the Vietnamese shrimp spring rolls, a combo rice plate, and iced tea. The spring rolls were huge — bigger than any I’ve had elsewhere — and definitely worth praising. The rice plate was generous and had a nice variety of items. The soft-boiled egg was perfectly timed. The only issue with the food was the grilled pork/chicken chop: it was only half-cut with a knife, which made it a bit awkward to eat since no knife was provided , and the meat itself was a little dry/tough. Service was the main problem and the reason for the low rating. The restaurant seemed understaffed — there was only one Indian waitress the entire time. When I sat down she already looked quite busy. After she brought out all the food, she never came back to check on me or ask how everything was, and my iced tea was never refilled. Management should look into this matter (understaffed). Food was solid, but the lack of attention really brought the experience down. It's not like a Vietnamese restaurant, but an Indian restaurant. And the rice noodle broth was too oily, making the broth taste disgusting. It doesn't seem like a proper pho. This is my standard for restaurants. Vietnamese food is made by a Vietnamese chef, and if it is made by an Indian, it is not Vietnamese food. You can only bring out the true flavor if it's your own country's food. However, many restaurants hire many Spanish workers to save on labor costs, but those restaurants have to memorize recipes to make proper food. I also graduated from culinary school and am very proud of my food. It seems like it's just an imitation, but it doesn't really seem like a proper Vietnamese restaurant. I had tried pho twice this week elsewhere and did not expect to have anything different BUT PHO MC restored my faith in delicious pho…The broth was flavorful and the meat was very tender as well as the brisket. I love it and I can’t wait to come back. Thank you. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch
