Charges $2.99 for jasmine tea, which they’ve probably used same tea leaves over and over that entire day. Tasted like 99.9% water and 0.1% tea. And debit machine was broke. Cash only place. Why is it always the asian restaurants that debit machines are always “happens” to be not working? Interesting. Don’t you dare be asking for tip. That tea charge should cover tip. Will not be visiting this place. Ever. Service: Dine in Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Stopped by here on our trip to Vancouver Island... One of the few Vietnamese (and Chinese) restaurants in Courtenay, Pho Maple Noodle House serves average-tasting pho catered to a Canadian palate, with little noodle customization available (only vermicelli, no egg noodles... boo). The Singapore Fried Noodles were really good, and everything is cheap with big portions. If I lived in the area, I would eat here, but I'm too spoiled by good pho in Vancouver.
