Food at Empire Chinese Cuisine

Cantonese cuisine under the direction of the great chef is wonderful here. At this restaurant, visitors can try perfectly cooked belly pork, Dim sum and fried prawns. Eating good rice cakes and tasty fruitcake is a pleasant experience here. You will be offered delicious tea.

The positive aspect of Empire Chinese Cuisine is that the staff is cool. Terrific service is something clients like here. Prices are fair for the quality you get. As most guests remark, the atmosphere is homey. This place is rated on Google 4.5 by its clients.

Visited for their dim sum omakase experience. Service was prompt and attentive, and the overall ambience was pleasant, making it a comfortable dining experience. Presentation of the dishes was well thought out and visually appealing, reflecting clear effort from the kitchen. Food-wise, it was a bit hit and miss. • The soup tasted healthy but was very bland and lacked depth. • From the platter of four dim sum, the sakura prawn dumpling and butterfly vegetable dumpling stood out as the better items. • The crispy turnip roll had a nice filling, though the exterior could have been crispier. It was served on a plate of crushed peanuts and cookie crumble, which didn’t pair particularly well. • The roasted pork belly was slightly too sweet, and overall quality was average. • The swimming stingray dumpling was tasty, but the broth was overly starchy. • The steamed glutinous rice with chicken wrapped in lotus leaf was fragrant and enjoyable. • For desserts, the signature coffee jelly was a tad too bitter. The lotus seed paste with black pearl had a good filling, though the skin was too thick. Download the Hungry Hub app using referral code IKBFTD to get $10 off your first reservation. This is in addition to the 1-for-1 dim sum omakase deal (listed at $34.50 for 2 pax), bringing the final price down to $24.50 for 2 pax. Overall, a decent omakase experience with nice presentation and ambience, and good value when booked via Hungry Hub with the referral code. Food here was exceptionally unique, sight of the food was beautiful, and the taste was memorable. For the ambience, the outer look of the shop is just like any typical chinese restaurant, but the surprise starts right after you ordered your food. Couldnt say much but really have to experience it yourself. Special mention to the staff name "AD", and the manager Ms Loke. Their patience in explaining each food and adapts to all my needs were amazing. Not forgetting the whole team of staff, from clearing plate, to topping water. The only thing to mention, surprisingly for a chinese restaurant, many of the staff couldn't speak chinese. Not a big problem, just a thought. Overall experience, FANTASTIC! Had dinner at Empire Chinese Cuisine (Parkway Parade) recently and overall it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant environment was comfortable and suitable for a relaxed family meal. We tried a few dishes — the roast meat was well-prepared with crispy skin, and the fish dish was fresh and nicely cooked with a light sauce. The mantou with sauce was also quite enjoyable. Service was attentive and food was served at a reasonable pace. Pricing is around $30–40 per person, which is fair for the quality and portion. Will consider coming back again for another family dinner. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
