Once the promenade around the Duckboard Place is over, visit Phoenix Kitchen. According to the guests' comments, Chinese dishes here are quite good. Try nicely cooked omelettes and good roasted meat.

I really hate doing this but when you feel ripped off and deceived, ppl need to be aware. I ordered off the menu board above and realised after I tapped the EFTPOS I realised the price was higher. When I questioned the girl and pointed to menu board prices above, she explained prices have gone up by showing me the counter menu. I asked why didn’t you mention this when I was ordering??? Played dumb. The veg fried rice low grade with few frozen veggies and rice almost $20, & the home made chicken dim sims (looked bigger in the picture) turned out to be 3x COLD tasteless mini size dim sims for $8.80! I wish I had read their poor reviews prior. Lesson learnt. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Honestly disappointed with this pork belly. The skin was crispy, but the meat was unevenly cooked and some parts looked undercooked. Texture was dry and chewy in several pieces, making it hard to enjoy. Definitely not worth the price and wouldn’t order again. Also the girl at the couter so rude. I orderd 500g is $29 dollar , they ask me to pay $39 . I asked why then they said it order 500g???? Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I bought a dish of rice at 12:00 noon on 26/02/2026. After I got the rice, I requested an empty bowl to share with my partner. The woman at the service counter replied bluntly: "we didn't have any empty bowl", but I saw there are some paper bowls. As indicated in the invoice this woman is so called "Supervisor". I like to inform the Phoenix Kitchen management to examine this woman's standard of service, which I think is far below "Supervisor" standard. I've been to Europe, America, Asia countries and have not met such so called "Supervisor" service before. If she's a true supervisor, she should think of ways to help a customer in need. I now want to know how the management will take this complaint seriously or not. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
