There is literally nothing here that isn't good. Bread? Perfect, classic creative, sourdough to soothe the San Francisco soul. Sandwiches? Delicious and plentiful and varied. Cookies and coffee? Treat yourself and you won't regret it. Service? Literally the friendliest people I've ever met. So glad they're a part of our town. Phoenix Rising Dough is hands-down one of the most special spots in Radford. Everything is made from scratch, and you can *taste* the difference in every bite. The sourdough sandwiches are next-level, and the menu—sprawled across a giant handwritten chalkboard—just adds to the charm and character of the place. The food is incredible, the coffee is just as good, but what truly makes this place unforgettable is the family behind the counter. They are genuinely some of the friendliest, funniest, and most welcoming people you’ll ever meet. They don’t just serve you—they make you feel like part of the family.
