The recipe for success of this restaurant is its nicely cooked braised beef cheeks, fish and smoked chicken. Many guests come to taste good meringues and tasty ice cream. At Pialligo Estate, clients can order good wine. Visitors don't highly appreciate tea at this place.
Come to this spot to celebrate an anniversary, wedding or a birthday party. As many reviewers affirm, the service is fine. Google users are quite generous with this restaurant: it was granted 4 stars.

We held a cocktail party at Pialligo in late February 2026 and had a wonderful experience. Following the recent change in caterers/management, we were pleased with the service, from the initial planning through to the night itself. The venue is stunning, with the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor spaces. Our guests had an absolute ball and loved the evening.

Had our wedding at Pialligo Estate and while the setting was beautiful, would not recommend any bride or groom consider this venue. We have reached out with our multiple issues, but it's been nearly 2 months with still not even an acknowledgement of our contact even with multiple follow ups. Some of our issues included but are not limited to: - Waiters not understanding what gluten free meant; - Not setting up items we'd paid for them to set up (eg guest book table, easels, cake barrel, etc); - Not setting up our items despite us leaving them there for them; - Serving our wedding cake topper to a random guest; - Never serving tea or coffee despite it being included; - Having a public wine tasting event in part of the venue we paid for; - I dropped off my 2nd reception dress off the day before and left it where they told me to. The next day, when we went to find it during the wedding, it had been moved and rubbish filling the bag on top of the dress; - The lawn chairs provided for the ceremony that we paid for were mouldy and had holes in them; - The florists were kicked out of setting up the wedding flowers on the day, in order to make way for the wine tasting which was occurring in a room we'd paid for. It is not worth the stress on your wedding day, and considering Pialligo won't even hire an event manager who is willing to work on the day of major events like a wedding, I wouldn't recommend hiring them as a venue.
