Yummmyyy! I got the spicy vodka penne, it was so creamy and AMAZING! Not many true fresh Italian places in Reno. I will definitely be coming back weekly! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

5 Stars for a bonafide Carnivore Plate at a somewhat reasonable price, that’s a quick stop and hits a goal at or near 120 grams. The carnivore surf and turf may cost 25, but there is an entire NY strip, 6-8 nice size shrimp and (at least) an 8 oz (today it was wild) salmon filet with the skin prepared for eating. Butter poached and tasty. That’s a win-win-win. So many places add sides and we always feel shorted out when we ask for no rice or potatoes. This plate is all business. The salmon could have been a little less done, maybe same with the steak, but I’m thankful for the option and would return frequently for this when out and about shopping or doing errands. Maybe well-done is the safest bet with the general public. I was super surprised to get wild caught salmon, and hope that’s a regular thing. I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere since the public market is fun once in a while but I don’t love to eat there all the time. The food smell bad and it doesn’t taste anything like spaghetti and bolognese. I am just so disappointed since I’ve been craving spaghetti and Reno in the worst place for pasta. Food: 1
