We had a lovely dinner at Piazza Italiana during our stay in Riga’s Old Town. We visited as a family with our school-aged son and enjoyed a couple of starters, main courses and a variety of drinks. We also received a small complimentary dessert, which was a lovely surprise. The sharing platter felt a little overpriced for what it was, but overall we had a very enjoyable dining experience. The highlight of our visit was definitely the service. We would especially like to thank the fair-haired waiter who served our table. He spoke excellent English, was genuinely friendly, professional and attentive, and always seemed to know exactly when to check on us and when to give us space to enjoy our meal. The restaurant, including the restrooms, was spotless, and we really enjoyed sitting on the terrace. If you’re visiting Riga’s Old Town and looking for a good Italian restaurant, we would definitely recommend Piazza Italiana. We would happily come back on our next visit.
