Great little family run bistro with hearty food cooked with care and a lovely unhurried atmosphere. Recommend for anyone that appreciates the way things used to be before the US conquered the world with brands and mediocrity. I have been coming to Italy for some 30 years and there are not many places I have not been, but I must say that Bistrot "Piazza Ravenna" in Ostia Antica would have to be one of the best places I have eaten in. The menu is good with daily specials and the food is delicious The host Michelangelo is a true gentleman and speaks English perfectly.The restaurant is in an old castle giving it a great atmosphere. There is also outside dining in a court yard. Eric Brisbane Australia.
