A terrible welcome, a shameful experience I went into this Picardy boutique today to take a look. As a potential customer, I feel I have the right to look in peace without being forced to buy anything. Unfortunately, upon leaving, I was confronted with a haughty and aggressive attitude from the cashier. He asked me in an unpleasant tone: “Do you know what you were looking for?”, followed by a request to check my bag. I understand that they want to prevent theft, but there is a way to address people, with respect and professionalism. Just because you walk into a store doesn’t mean you’re automatically obligated to buy. This behavior is simply unacceptable, especially since I am a resident of the neighborhood.
