Massively disappointing customer service. Booked table for 8 for birthday celebration and found restaurant closed when I got there. No call received to advise restaurant was closing No apology received. I will never eat here again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Service: 1

Nice cosy little Italian, which gets busy very quickly. Make sure you book early before deciding to go there on spec. Nice varied menu.However...The wait for food can be up to an hour. With our party of four, just three main dishes arrived, one of which was incorrect. But we kept the dish as we didn't want to wait another hour! The fourth dish arrived a little later than we'd liked. One of the dishes seemed to be a little economical with the chicken in the pasta. Having complained to our waitress about the lack of chicken, she said she would ask the chef. We never got an answer.Food in general was nice but not particularly special. As mentioned earlier the restaurant does get busy and the waitresses seemed to be struggling to wait on all the tables as we sat with empty plates more than we'd liked after we'd finished. Eventually after the plates were collected we asked for the menu to choose our deserts. The menu was never brought to us so we we're so fed up of waiting we asked for the bill. Having checked the bill they charged us for the wrong Pinot Grigio which was twice the price!Once the bill was changed it was dropped off on our table without an apology or acknowledgement. We waited and waited for the waitress to return so we could settle up. This was becoming annoying now in having to wait, so we started to get ready to leave at which point the waitress arrived. Paying the bill in full our waitress was shaking her head in disapproval during the transaction which was very rude. I wish our first time experience at Little Italy was more memorable for the right reasons but unfortunately we all left with bad memories and stories to tell our friends and families. I would like to think our experience was a one off but reading other reviews here we are not alone in the poor customer service. Sorry Piccola Italia Ealing, but I don't think we will be visiting you again. Arrivederci.
