Piccola Italia is a small neighborhood Italian eatery near the hotel that I stayed at while in Salzburg. It was really cold and I wanted to just grab some takeaway food to eat back at the hotel. Recalling that this hotel was close-by, I stopped in to get some pasta to go. This restaurant has an inexpensive menu of pasta dishes and pizzas that are under €10. In fact, my spaghetti carbonara was less than €6! While the pasta seemed like the kind you would find at the grocery store, I really enjoyed the dish as the carbonara was nice and creamy plus the pasta was topped with some fresh arugula. The service was also good and patient as I figured out what I wanted to order. If you are looking for some cheap Italian takeaway in Salzburg, this is a good place to get some nice pasta dishes.
