The British cuisine is nice at this cafe. Nicely cooked sourdough toasts, filet américain and sandwiches might be what you need. Trying good fruit toasts, brownies and chocolate cakes is a pleasant experience here. You will hardly forget delicious bitter that you can taste. Piccolo Espresso Bar offers great espresso, tea or flat whites among its drinks.

This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices are fair for the quality you receive. The fancy decor and lovely atmosphere let clients feel relaxed here. Google gives it 4.8 so you can choose this spot to have a good time here.

I visited Piccolo two weeks ago while travelling through the UK, and I’m still slightly annoyed I don’t live closer. The coffee was excellent—properly excellent—but what really makes this place stand out is Tony. He’s basically running a one-man coffee empire: roasting, baking, pulling shots, probably doing the washing up too. What really stands out is Tony’s clear passion for what he does. You can tell this is a place built on real craft and attention to detail—everything feels thoughtful, from the coffee to the baked goods, and it all comes together in a really honest, welcoming way. If you’re anywhere near Worksop, go. And if you’re not anywhere near Worksop, still go. Just plan your life around it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £1–10

I knew Mr Straw when the shop was a grocer's; I even went to his parent's house as a 12/13 year old; i.e. Mr Straw's House. I watched the grocery store change into a motor factors, and later into Mr Straw's cafe, which was good. But this was my first visit to Piccolo Espresso Bar. It was super and I will go again. The coffee and cakes were excellent as was the service and surroundings. It's great to see Worksop being rewarded with such an excellent establishment. I'll go again and so should you. But what am I saying??? I should be keeping this little secret to myself, so sshh. Don't tell anyone!!!
