We had such a great experience here. The relaxed atmosphere and the fact that the food is cooked in front of you adds to the vibe. The food was so good and fresh, extremely well seasoned and. We came here for the fired pickles and the ham and cheese sandwich but was pleasantly surprised by the pork katsu. They also have an extremely sour ale resembling pickle juice that we really liked. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: lei 80–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fried Pickles, Bacon Grilled Cheese, Grilled Cheese Sandwich Vegetarian options: They have some solid vegetarian options, a kimchi sandwich and a cheese one and pimientos de padron.

Soul food style restaurant, I enjoyed it quite a lot. The place is very small so expect to have to wait for a table. The furniture and decor makes it feel homey and vintage, which also gives it a slight vibe of not being perfectly clean but it is ok. Worst experience of the past 5 years. There is a reason why ppl don’t fry pickles. Bottom line you shouldn’t !!! Gust grav de putina, romanians will know. If your mother or grandma did’t had any cooking skills then I might understand the positive reviews and hype. But if you had at least one home cooked meal in your life, then please avoid this place. The pickles were awful, the corn ribs full of old oil taste, everything will oily after-taste, the mcFish stinky (i had better fish burger at Hygge and fish and chips at Raionul de Peste), the porkatsu hard and blunt. Would NOT recommend ever, even to my enemies. Omfg and the sauces the one that accompanied the pickles was just gross. The one that came with the corn ribs was blunt, didn’t had anything special. And last but not least, the chessecake, not bad, but not as good as the hypes makes it! There are at least 5 places in Bucharest with better cheesecake like Raionul de Pest, Trofic, Poesia, Fior di latte. Just save your money and go somewhere else.
