We always take delight in finding somewhere that provides unpretentious, but delicious food like La Pierre Chaud does ... and with such charming aplomb! Enhancing the anticipation prompted by our first glance of their lunch menu, when we went inside, we were also welcomed with warmth and kindness as we were shown to a suitable table. During the course of our lunch, it was apparent the friendliness & jocularity we'd experienced continued to be happily extended throughout the rest of our meal, and all others were similarly welcomed as they arrived and were seated. Quelle difference? If you are looking for tasty food with a "home-cooked" style, I can strongly recommend La Pierre Chaude if or when you are ever visiting the old citadel.
