This is the best BBQ in the area! Brisket and sauces are amazing. Great sides and Pepsi Cola Cake served warm with a fudge icing to end the delicious meal! Great service from beginning to end! Love this place! You want great BBQ and different scenery? This is the place to be!! A BBQ restaurant next to a grass airstrip... I've heard about Pik N Pig and finally got to experience it. We pulled into the gravel parking lot, next to the airstrip. Very interesting and cool to see planes landing and taking off so close. Other than common sense, there's really nothing stopping anyone from walking up to and into the airstrip. After admiring the views, we went in to eat. You have your choice of eating inside or outside. Both dining areas are quite large. As expected, we did have to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. You can imagine how popular a restaurant next to an airstrip would be. No matter how long the wait, it's well worth it. I got the Pulled Pork Plate and was not disappointed. The BBQ was so moist and flavorful. It's probably the most tender BBQ I've ever had. All the dudes I had were prepared perfectly. When you get your just puppies, make sure you get the jalapeno butter with it! Oh, make sure you save room for dessert! The banana pudding is amazing! I can't wait to go back and share this restaurant with others.
