I recently visited Pikol in Nova Gorica and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is set in a beautiful log cabin, with a small lake nearby, making it the perfect spot for a romantic evening.
The food was excellent, with a wide variety of seafood dishes to choose from. We had the sea bass carpaccio, which was expertly prepared tableside, and it was simply delicious. The scallops were also cooked to perfection, and the Platteau Royal was a real treat. The desserts were equally impressive, with the chocolate souffle and crème brûlée being standouts.
The service was friendly and attentive, although it could have been a bit faster. The wine list was a bit limited, but the house wines were quite satisfactory.
Overall, I highly recommend Pikol for a special occasion. The setting is beautiful and the food is truly memorable.

Awsome expirience right on the edge of fine dining and art! Exellent service and hospitality. A must visit restaurant in Slovenia! Congratulations for the Michelin award you recived today!

Our last visit in June this year was very disappointing. They are not up to the challenge of tasting menu any more
