The food is exceptional! Everything has been taken to another level definitely top tier for tiverton! Drinks and service were on point. Best salad I’ve ever had! Highly recommended if you’re looking for an exceptional culinary experience that will not disappoint. So so experience. We were there for a late afternoon Sunday meal, just 2 folks. There were 6 other small groups there, so less than 20 people and about 5 staff. It took us 20 minutes to get a chance to put in an order, almost an hour for food. We ordered cornbread to start, came out in 20 minutes, it wasn’t bad. But then another half hour for 2 mediocre burgers. Cornbread was under cooked and burgers were over cooked. The place had nice vibes and seemed like a good place, it just took way too long. I’ve been wanting to try this place since I heard they were closing the previous restaurant (which I “tried” 3x to give them a chance I WANTED to like it because the location would’ve been great for us and the building looked cool/ I liked the atmosphere). I finally gave it a try tonight and this is what I had/ my review. 1. The owner seems super-attentive. He was present, delivering some food and generally engaging. I’m not sure who the previous owner was, but this guy cares. 2. I half-dozen ordered bone-in wings, chili (w/ out sour cream) and chips and a beer 3. The food was delivered within one beer, good timing! 4. The wings came out boneless and overcooked to the point that the meat was dry. However, the taste was good with the buffalo sauce. 5. The chili came out with sour cream. I hate SC so I sent it back.. at which point I was questioned “are you allergic?” NO. I just hate sour cream! 6. Chili came back and it had great flavor. I really liked it and would order again, a double portion even. All in all, I would chalk it up to someone in the kitchen’s lack of attention to orders and I will try it again. Hopefully the owner pays attention to reviews also and takes this criticism as constructive. All in all, I think this place is a welcomed improvement over the previous establishment with good flavors. Next time I will try the chicken and waffles. It looks really good.
