I absolutely love this coffee shop! So many great things to say about Pine State. The coffee tastes so good! The iced latte is my go-to, and I highly recommend if you're an iced coffee enjoyer. On top of that, it's spacious and clean inside with a lot of places to sit down to talk with friends or get some work done. They have a lot of cool decorations up too. There's a section of the store next to where you order with a free rotating booktrade. You can take a book if you give one away, really neat. Next to the trash and utensils, they have displays from a local artist up, and you can buy their artwork if you'd like. On the right side of the store, they sell Pine State specific merch and merchandise related to the Triangle. If someone was visiting the Triangle and could only try one coffee shop, I'd recommend here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

3.5 stars As someone who works remote, I’m always looking for a good coffee shop to get something like to eat and get work done. This is a nice coffee shop and has a great vibe. Plan additional time to get your coffee, there is usually one person working. Extremely nice! The music is good and soft, not loud like some coffee shops.If you do not like dim lighting, then you may not like this coffee shop. The lighting did not bother me, but I was only there for 30 minutes typing on my computer. The biggest downside is that it’s hot in there. That makes it challenging to drink coffee and to get work done when you’re hot. They do have the side door open so maybe that’s the cause but on a day that is 85° it was not comfortable. There is limited seating, I would say this is a coffee shop more for friends to talk less about getting your work done. I was the only one in the coffee shop, not in a business conversation or friend conversation, but trying to get work done. I thought there would be more food options, but there were not I got a muffin. It was good, but I was hoping there were more food options based on the photos. It is a bar by night, and sometimes coffee shops that are also bars tend to do one thing really good, but not the other thing. this coffee shop strikes me more as a bar than it does a coffee shop. I do think I would return and give it one more shot. But if it’s hot, I probably will not go back again. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

I could go on for HOURS!!!!! About Magnificent place that is PINE STATE COFFEE! LARZ Robison the King of Roasts + Brews cultivating a atmosphere like no other. Once they get that big sign out on AUTOMOTIVE WAY it will no longer be Raleigh’s best kept secret! Come into the shop and immediately get greeted by some of the most beautiful baristas of the south east! Serving you looks , high musical vibrations, dance moves, delicious treats , and LATTES! Once you go to Pine State you won’t want to leave but once you leave just know that you’re forever apart of the FAMILY! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Parking options: Free of charge street parking
