McCormick Freedom Project is a great attraction for tourists who come to eat at this restaurant after long walks. Pine Street Kitchen offers you to try perfectly cooked sandwiches, salads and soup. In accordance with the reviewers' opinions, waiters serve good coffee.

The success of this place would be impossible without the appealing staff. Prompt service is something guests like here. Prices at this spot claim to be adequate. But google users rated this restaurant and it didn't earn a high rating.

You guys need to have the two young ladies come back and services the register. The past two times that I’ve been there a young guy has been at the register and either he can’t hear or just doesn’t want to make the coffee right. I’ve asked for a latte and he just gave me a cup so that I could serve myself some regular coffee. The first time I asked him again and he had to change the order and make the latte. The second time, he just gave me a cup with cold milk in it. I’ve tried to ask him louder and in Spanish because I thought he just didn’t know English that well, but he still can’t hear or understand. The guy also needs to work on his customer service skills and put a smile on his face. Please bring the two young ladies that used to be there back.

Pine Street Kitchen, located in the basement of the 401 N/Michigan Ave. Zeller building, is small cafeteria but with a fair amount of options. Containing both a Breakfast (AM) and Salad (late AM/PM) bar, your options expand out to include a oatmeal (AM) & soup (late AM/PM) bar, a grill, taco, and sandwich station all with rotating menu items. There's a small "Starbucks" included and a number of grab-&-go options as well. There's a small/medium seating area to eat your food, with a nearby bathroom just outside the cafeteria. They do a very solid job wit the food, but occasionally run out of product during/after morning and lunch rush- plus the limited size of space and staff means there can be lines during rush periods- plan accordingly and avoid the wait.
