Savannah,Junior has come to Pink Salt very recently after we took over the restaurant just this summer. In the short time, he has absolutely shown his ability and care for the details. We couldn't be more pleased hearing this feedback. I don't typically write bad reviews but I'd like to share the experience I had in hope to highlight some issues that need to be addressed. My friend and I came for food and drinks around 4:30pm. I ordered the cod while my friend ordered the chicken, the cod came out first in a timely manner. We waited about 10-15 min still no chicken. Another 10-15 min later and out comes a lamb dish. We were confused and I let the server know that my friend had ordered chicken not lamb. He apologized and said he had misheard and that they could make the chicken fast and that he could box up the lamb for us to take home, great! Another 20-30 min still no chicken... At this point, the cod, which we were now sharing was cold and we just wanted to leave and have the chicken boxed up instead so we could go. The owner was there and at several points started talking to us out of the blue, when we had mentioned the issue with the food it was brushed off. Trying to get the attention of anyone working there so we could just pay the bill and leave seemed impossible. Finally our items were boxed up and I was able to pay. What was not boxed up was the lamb, which would have been fine since that's not what we ordered but why say they would box it up for us to take home in the first place? Everything felt very unorganized, it wasn't busy (there were only two other tables with people inside) so I'm not sure where the communication failed behind the scenes. The food was good and the servers were friendly but overall we were very disappointed the with experience. For 2 food items and 2 drinks the total came out to $100. $100 for cold cod and chicken that takes an hour to make, I personally would not come back. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
