Absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The service was exceptional—everyone was so friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The food was outstanding: fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and you could really tell that they use high-quality ingredients and put a lot of passion into everything they do. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making the whole experience even more special. If we are ever back in Dublin, we will definitely return to this restaurant. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience. Thank you for a wonderful evening! Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Disappointing Experience – Not What I Expected from a Cookery School My partner and I attended the pasta-making course at Pinocchio Cookery School in Temple Bar and, unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the experience, especially considering the cost of €70 per person. One of the biggest surprises was that the "cookery school" took place in a corner of the restaurant itself, with diners eating nearby. Our station was located beside the entrance to the toilets, which didn't create the atmosphere we expected from a cooking class. When we arrived, we were asked to join another couple. They were lovely people, but this meant that four people were sharing the same ingredients and bowl. We were all putting our hands into the same mixture, which felt awkward and wasn't ideal from a hygiene perspective. The course itself involved very little actual cooking. We mixed dough by hand, kneaded it into balls, shaped gnocchi and put pasta dough through a machine. That was essentially the extent of our participation. The food was then taken away and cooked by the staff before being served back to us. There was no instruction on cooking techniques, sauces, ingredients, timings, or how the dishes were prepared. I left feeling that I hadn't really learned any cooking skills. I had also advised in advance when booking that we do not eat red meat. Despite this, the pasta dish served to us contained red meat, leaving us unable to eat much of what was prepared. The handwashing facilities were also disappointing. The toilets were small, there were no paper towels, and the soap supply appeared limited, which wasn't reassuring given that the class involved handling food with our hands. The advertisement mentioned a recipe book, but what was emailed afterwards was only a very basic set of notes and certainly not what I would consider a recipe book. Overall, I felt the course was poor value for money. I had expected a hands-on cookery class where I would learn cooking techniques and recipes, but instead it felt more like a brief pasta-shaping demonstration. Sadly, I left feeling disappointed and that the experience did not justify the price. Aprons were dirty too from the previous class. It was obvious they were just rolled in a ball and reused without being cleaned. Disappointing all around. This is not a Cookery school. Price per person: €70–80 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
